Who can volunteer?

Anyone! Whether you are a young person looking for school volunteer hours, a working professional who wants to make an impact in your community, or an older resident looking for a volunteer opportunity, we want to hear from you.

What types of volunteer opportunities are available?

Here are just some volunteer opportunities that take an hour or so of your time:

• Deliver food from local food pantries to families unable to access the pantries. 

• Pick up and deliver “rescued” food to area pantries. 

• Help maintain t​he Newton Community Freedge, afree 24-hour refrigerator and pantry.
